Vineyard Details
Melka CJ
Napa
The vineyards that contribute to the making of this wine are sourced due to the relationships forged with growers over the 20 years that we’ve been making this wine. Two in particular have been the main source of fruit for CJ for the last decade. Soda Canyon is a unique area in Napa Valley near Oakville with hillside fruit. The Cabernet and Petit verdot that we purchase from Evans comes from 6 individual blocks, the wines are layered with soft tannins. The Cabernet from Broken Rock has brought more fresh crushed rocks, good acidity and more massive tannins.
